Are there contraindications and side effects?
The procedure is not recommended only for pregnant and lactating women. Areas with active viral and bacterial infections (e.g. herpes) should not be treated. The HydraFacial procedure has no side effects.
How many treatments are needed?
The treatments required vary according to the patient’s individual skin characteristics. For optimum results, 3 consecutive treatments at an interval of 1 week are recommended. Thereafter, it is advisable to perform maintenance treatments at least once a month.
Are there contradictions regarding cosmetics to the therapy?
HydraFacial Therapy has a home care kit. It is recommended to continue the skin care at home after the treatment. This will inevitably increase the effect of the apparatus procedure.
What should we not do after a procedure?
Up to 3 hours after the procedure, it is not advisable to treat the skin with cleansing cosmetics containing alcohol and aggressive active ingredients. Applying make-up immediately is also not recommended. Heat treatments such as steam bath, sauna, laser and radiofrequency treatments and direct sun exposure are undesirable within 24 hours after treatment.
